Fraternity Mailing, February 29, 2008

On February 29, 2008, a mailing was sent via USPS to collegiate chapter archons and chapter key advisors. The information contained in the mailing was also sent via e-mail to collegiate chapter officers, alumnae chapter officers, Fraternity volunteers (including chapter key advisors and advisory board members), Foundation volunteers and NHC volunteers.

The purpose of this mailing was to announce a dues increase effective July 1, 2008. For detailed information on the dues increase and a copy of the notice mailed, log into the Phi Sigs Only site – Phi Sigma Sigma eCommunity, Resources-Chapter Finance folder.

According to the Phi Sigma Sigma bylaws, ARTICLE II, SECTION 1, all dues, taxes, fees and fines of the Fraternity shall be such amounts per fiscal year as Supreme Council may determine upon recommendation of the finance committee following completion of the annual budgetary review. All dues, taxes, fees and fines will be announced by March 1 preceding the Fraternity's next fiscal year.

As a reminder, chapter budgets must be entered into Billhighway by April 10, 2008, for the 2008-09 academic year.
