Phi Sigma Sigma Invited to Colonize at Grand Valley State University
Elkridge, Maryland (April 1, 2006)Director of Extension Alicia Scott announces that Phi Sigma Sigma has been invited to colonize at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich. “This is an outstanding opportunity to build to the walls of our pyramid and enhance the Fraternity’s strength in Michigan,” said Scott.
Phi Sigma Sigma joins a strong Greek community that includes five National Panhellenic Conference sororities – Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Sigma Alpha, Alpha Sigma Tau, Delta Zeta and Sigma Kappa. Phi Sigma Sigma volunteers and staff will conduct the colonization recruitment during the fall 2006 semester. The recruitment will follow a campus public relations campaign to generate excitement and interest in Phi Sigma Sigma. Alumnae interested in participating in the colonization or advising the colony can contact Fraternity Headquarters at phisighq@phisigmasigma.org.
Phi Sigma Sigma is an international women's fraternity founded in 1913 at Hunter College in New York City. Currently, Phi Sigma Sigma has over 55,000 initiated members worldwide, with 110 collegiate chapters and colonies and 40 alumnae groups across North America.
