memorabilia. The Fraternity and Foundation also will host meetings,
events, trainings and leadership development programming in its
new space.
Executive Director Alice C. Smith will lead the fraternity staff
from the new office. Lisa Wallace (Epsilon Rho Chapter, York College)
recently joined the staff in the position of membership manager,
serving regions 5-8. Former Director of Collegians Linda

on an interim basis as membership manager, serving regions 1-4. Linda will remain in this position on a temporary basis while
the search continues for a permanent staff member. Lisa Daly (Zeta
Xi Chapter, Canisius College) will work out of her home office in
Boca Raton, Fla. as membership manager for regions 9-12. Additional staff appointments will be announced once the hiring
process in completed.
Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation Executive Director Michelle Snyder (Delta
Iota Chapter, Central Michigan University) will split her time between
a home office in West Palm Beach, Fla. and the new headquarters.
The decision to move to Elkridge, Md. is the culmination of
a year-long headquarters study, where eight cities initially were
identified as potential sites. A headquarters site selection committee
researched many factors, toured properties in five cities, and collected
feedback from collegiate and alumnae members. The committee submitted
its findings to Supreme Council, which selected Elkridge based on
the availability of affordable, desirable property within close
proximity to the airport, train station and hotels.
Phi Sigma Sigma is a national women's fraternity founded in 1913
at Hunter College in New York City. Currently, Phi Sigma Sigma has
over 55,000 initiated members worldwide, with 107 collegiate chapters
and colonies and 35 alumnae groups across North America. More information
on the organization can be found at www.phisigmasigma.org.
