Alumnae Chapters
An alumnae chapter is a group of at least
seven alumnae that has successfully petitioned Supreme Council for
alumnae chapter status. An alumnae club is a group of alumnae who do
not meet the minimum requirements of an alumnae chapter, or who do
not wish to petition for chapter status. Alumnae clubs may or may
not become alumnae chapters, depending on the intent of the members.
An alumnae club is formed when a sister identifies herself as a
contact for an alumnae group in a geographic
area.
Chapter Associations
For many of our alumnae the most important post-graduate connection may be with their collegiate chapter and chapter sisters. To encourage these connections, Phi Sigma Sigma has created an online
association for every collegiate chapter. The primary
purpose
of the chapter association is for chapter
members - both alumnae and current collegians - to stay connected with each other, their
chapter and the Fraternity.
The association is based on chapter/university origins only and does not require geographic proximity to the chapter, as all activity is online. To subscribe to your chapter association, visit the eCommunity tab on the Phi Sigs Only section of the Phi Sigma Sigma Web site.
